Free Christmas Tree Coaster Crochet Pattern - MonikaCrochet

Beautiful day my dears!

And because it is the Christmas in the air (Can you believe it? Time is flying so fast!), there is a new free pattern available for you - Christmas Tree Coaster. I wish you all happy days full of crocheting.

Christmas Tree Coaster Pattern

Free Crochet Pattern Christmas Tree Coaster


100% cotton yarn: bright green, brown, and red. (I used Schachenmayr Catania originals)

Crochet hooks G/6 and E/4

Cotton thread



Crochet Abbreviations:

ch – chain  

dec - decrease

rnd – round

sc – single crochet

sl st – slip stitch

st – stitch

tog - together


Crochet the green triangle -hook G/6, 2 strands tog

Start at the base of the triangle.

Ch 23

Row 1: sc 22

Then dec at the beg of each row until there are two loops on the hook.

Fasten off.

Add the brown base of the tree – hook G/6, 2 strands tog

Join brown with a sl st to 9th st of the triangle base.

Rows 1-3: Ch 1, sc 4. Fasten off

Crochet red circle (x 5) – hook E/4, single strand

Make a magic ring, ch 1.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring. ( 6 st) Fasten off.

Sew on the red circles to the green triangle to finish the christmas tree.

Sew on a red circle to each corner of the triangle, and two on the sides, somewhere in the middle.
