Easter Bunny Basket Pattern

Hello everyone, Easter is almost here!
It's springtime and Easter is almost here. The sun is shining, birds are chirping and flowers are starting to pop up everywhere :). Truly one of my favorite times of the year. In the spirit of Easter, I wanted to post a free pattern for bunny baskets. I think they are super adorable and I hope you enjoy them as well.

Bunny Basket Pattern:
100% cotton yarn: pink or light green or light pink, white. (I used Schachenmayr Catania originals)
Crochet hooks G/6, C/2
Stitch marker
Black embroidery thread
Cotton thread – for sewing together

Crochet Abbreviations:
ch – chain
cont – continue 
hdc – half double crochet
rnd – round
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st – stitch
tog – together

Crochet the basket – G/6, two strands.
Make a magic ring, ch 1.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring. ( 6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around. (12)
Rnd 3: 2 sc in each st around. (24) Mark end of rnd and then cont to move
marker each rnd.
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) x 8 (32).
Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) x 7, sc in next 3 sc (38).
Rnd 6 - 16: sc in next 38 sc, fasten off.
Ears 2x:
Ch 10
C/2, two strands.
Rnd 1:  sc in next 2 st, hdc in next 5 st, sc in next st, 2 sc in last st, turn sideways and cont along the other side of the foundation ch, sc in next st, hdc in next 5 st, sc in next 2 st.
Change the color (white – 1 strand), cont around all ear, 18 sc tog, fasten off.

With the black embroidery thread stitch in the nose and the eyes.
Sew basket and ears  together.
